Woodgreen
Woodgreen in the New Forest. The Parish was
previously part of the Godshill Tithing. The village lies between
Breamore and Hale to the East of the River Avon. When the village
hall was built in 1930-1, two students from the London College of
Art were commissioned by the Carnegie Trust to decorate the walls
entirely with murals, depicting village life as it was then. So the
BBC, when broadcasting a television programme on the village in
1973, called it The Village on the Wall.

Cottage Crest is the home of the Cadman
family which is reflected in the family antique furniture
and pictures which are dotted around the house. Cottage
Crest is situated high in its own 5 acres of ground with
magnificent views across the New Forest, and the River Avon
valley below.
There are three bedrooms to let; two in
the main house and one in the Garden Suite and a
self-catering cottage called the Sunset Place.
All are beautifully decorated and spacious, all are en-suite
with colour TV, tea & coffee service, and command
spectacular lovely views of the surrounding country-side.
